Among the evening's luminaries, one name stands out: Jia Morado-De Guzman, set to receive the prestigious title of Ms. Volleyball.

The 5-foot-7 playmaker, regarded as one of the Philippines' premier setters, adds another accolade to her storied career. Her journey to this recognition has been nothing short of remarkable.

A former Ateneo de Manila University standout, Morado-De Guzman captained the Alas Pilipinas squad to back-to-back bronze finishes in the SEA V.League series.

In these campaigns, her composure and brilliance earned her the Best Setter award at the Asian Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup, further solidifying her reputation as a world-class athlete.

The upcoming gala, a celebration of the country's sporting achievements, is made possible by the unwavering support of key organizations, including the Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO, PLDT/Smart, Senator Bong Go, and Januarius Holdings. Additional backing comes from the PBA, PVL, 1-Pacman Party List, AcroCity, Rain or Shine, and Akari, ensuring the evening’s success.

The Ms. Volleyball honor is not just a testament to her individual excellence but also to her enduring impact on Philippine volleyball.

As she joins an elite group of past recipients that includes Alyssa Valdez, Mika Reyes, Dawn Macandili, Jaja Santiago, Sisi Rondina, and Tots Carlos, Morado-De Guzman’s name becomes etched alongside the sport’s icons.
